Some persons suspected to  be members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have vowed to take over the school feeding program in about 8 basic schools in the Ofinso North District of the Ashanti region.

The ‘NPP caterers’ are demanding that the school feeding program is immediately taken from the current ones and given to them.

According to the school feeding coordinator in the area Andrews Bediako, the pupils were starved as a result of the alleged seizure of the caterers’ food stuffs and other materials as well as their kitchens.
